A small collection of calm-toned apartments in the medina, hosted by the people who restored them. Open the door whenever you like.
Hilton Shakar is three apartments in the medina of Marrakech, restored room by room over the last few years. We didn't set out to run a hotel. We set out to make three places we'd want to wake up in ourselves — a small kitchen, a terrace that catches the afternoon, a doorway you'd open every morning without a keycard.
We host short stays and long ones. We reply to WhatsApp at any reasonable hour, the bread bakery is two streets away, and we will tell you exactly which café not to bother with.
Each one shaped differently. A top-floor terrace that catches the morning. A ground-floor courtyard with a fountain you'll hear at night. A long sun-corridor with two bedrooms. Pick the one you'd open the shutters on.
Afternoon settles on the rooftop. The curtain moves. Bring a book.— a slow Tuesday in the medina
The apartments work for a long weekend, a working week, and a slow month. Three rhythms, three rates — we shape the price around how you live, not by an inflated nightly minimum.
Two to six nights. Full nightly rate. Breakfast on arrival, neighborhood walk on day one if you'd like it.
A reduced weekly rate. Long enough to find a café you'd return to, slow enough that the call to prayer becomes the new alarm clock.
Twenty-eight nights and up. Significantly reduced. Wi-fi tested for video calls, kitchen restocked weekly, laundry by the building.
We didn't expect a stay to start with a WhatsApp at midnight and end with the host folding our laundry.Elsa & Marc · door no. 02 · February 2026
