A note, before you arrive

Hilton Shakar isn't a hotel and it isn't a riad. It's three of the apartments at a quiet, twelve-unit building in the medina — the three we live with and rent.

The building has a lift, a small reception during the day, and a shared courtyard with palms. Inside each of the three apartments: our furniture, our kitchen, our linens, our keys. Same house, three independent stays.

We answer WhatsApp at any reasonable hour, restock the kitchen weekly for long stays, and can tell you exactly which café two streets down is worth the walk.

The building

One address. A few neighbours.

The whole building sits inside the old medina, a five-minute walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa and ten minutes from the Bahia Palace. Twelve apartments across four floors. We rent three of them. The rest belong to people who live here.

You'll come in through the building's main door (your code arrives by message), take the lift to your floor, and let yourself into the apartment with your own keys. The building stays calm — residents, not parties.

How long are you here for?

A week
€1,050 / week

Seven nights, or thereabouts. Reduced weekly rate. Mid-stay refresh on day four.

The booking, in practice

Most stays are confirmed by message, not by form.

WhatsApp is how Morocco works, and how we work too. Send us your dates. We'll usually answer the same evening with availability, a price, and recent photos of whichever apartment fits.

Form below works too. Either reaches a human in the building.
